How Ideqo uses cookies

Cookies and browser storage help Ideqo remember who you are, keep your workspace secure, and, if you allow it, understand how people use the product so we can improve it.

01

Your choice

When you first visit Ideqo, you can accept all cookies or keep only the essentials. Essential cookies are always on because the app cannot work properly without them. Optional measurement is only used when you allow it, and you can change your choice later from Privacy settings.

02

Essential cookies

These are the practical cookies and browser storage items that keep Ideqo usable and secure. They are not used for advertising.

Keeping you signed in

Ideqo needs a secure sign-in cookie so you can move through the app without logging in again on every page.

Protecting forms and account actions

We use security cookies to help confirm that sign-in, sign-up, and account requests really come from your browser.

Remembering your cookie choice

Once you choose your preference, we store that choice so we do not keep asking you on every visit.

Saving local product state

Some browser storage keeps onboarding progress, the active project, and small interface preferences working smoothly.

03

Optional product insights

If you accept optional cookies, Ideqo uses Google Analytics to understand product usage in aggregate. This helps us improve the experience without reading your private strategy documents for marketing purposes.

Understanding what is useful

If you accept optional cookies, we can see aggregate patterns such as which pages people visit and which product areas are used most.

Improving onboarding

Optional measurement helps us understand where users complete, skip, or leave the onboarding flow.

Improving the workspace

Optional measurement helps us learn whether users open the board, use feedback, download documents, or switch between workspace panes.

What we do not use cookies for

  • We do not use advertising cookies.
  • We do not use retargeting cookies.
  • We do not use cookies for ads personalization.
  • We do not sell your personal data.

05

Browser storage details

Ideqo also uses first-party cookies and local browser storage. Names can vary slightly by browser and deployment, but the principal items are:

Authentication and security

Auth.js session, CSRF, and return-path values keep sign-in secure and preserve the destination you requested. They last for the session or the configured authentication period.

ideqo_guest

An essential, HTTP-only token reconnects a guest scorecard after signup. It lasts up to 30 days and is cleared when the claim flow completes.

ideqo-cookie-consent

Local storage remembers accepted or rejected analytics consent until you change it or clear site data.

Product state

Local storage may retain an onboarding draft, completion state, active project, and small interface preferences until the flow completes, you change them, or you clear site data.

06

Changing your mind

Change your preference at any time using the button below or Privacy settings in the account menu. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Clearing browser data may sign you out and may remove local onboarding progress or interface preferences.
